Halloween in the Twin Cities - Haunted House Guide

Unfortunately, many of the Twin Cities favorite haunted houses have been canceled this year, or have forever closed their doors. But there are still SCARY haunted houses to visit that are in the Twin Cities area.

Be prepared to be scared!

1) Scream Town/The Abandoned Hayride, 7410 US-212, Chaska.

There are 7 different haunted houses in one spot and a haunted town square. Each haunted house is uniquely themed. They also have the Abandoned Hayride - a tractor ride that will drop you off in the forest with nothing but a lantern to guide you back. https://screamtown.com/

2) ValleySCARE - Halloween Haunt, 1 Valley Fair Dr, Shakopee.

The largest amusement park in MN also operates one of the state’s largest haunted houses. ValleySCARE promises 5 different haunted mazes this year, plus 3 “scare zones” that you will need to be extra brave to walk through. https://www.valleyfair.com/events/valleyscare/haunt

3) The Haunting Experience on 61, 10900 E Point Douglas Rd, Cottage Grove.

Boasts the oldest hayride in MN. The hayride pulls you through the ground’s haunted forests,, including some deep tunnels & even a haunted steelworks building. And just when you think you’re in the clear, they will drop you off at their haunted house. https://hauntingexperience.com/

4) The Dead End Hayride, 28186 Kettle River Blvd N, Wyoming.

One of the best haunted hayrides in the state is 40 minutes past the Twin Cities. This hayride will drag you around the haunted farm to see stuff of your nightmares. Then you will get dumped off and have to make your way through multiple haunted houses. https://thedeadendhayride.com/
