Romantic Restaurants in the Twin Cities for Valentine's Day

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner.  Do you have your plans made? A dinner date is a classic for a reason, but reservations are going fast!  If you can’t get the spot you are hoping for, keep checking.  Several locations get last minute cancellations.

Here is a list of some of our favorite, most romantic spots for dinner in the twin cities:

1. Alma; 528 University Ave SE, MPLS.

We have shared Alma here before, and for a good reason.  Alma has more of a European cafe atmosphere.  Check out their seasonal prix-fixe menu.  After dinner, you may even want to take a romantic stroll to the Stone Arch Bridge just a few blocks away.  https://www.almampls.com/

2. Spoon & Stable; 211 North First St, MPLS.

A Twin Cities go-to for a reason!  This restaurant has received rave reviews since it’s 2014 debut.  https://www.spoonandstable.com/

3. Meritage; 410 Saint Peter St, St Paul

For something a little different, try this upscale oyster bar & restaurant.  Their cuisine is timeless & rooted in French tradition.  https://www.meritage-stpaul.com/

4. Myrial; 470 Cleveland Ave S, St Paul.

Another fantastic location that we have shared with you!  Their menu changes OFTEN based on quality ingredients and seasonality.  Both their a la carte and tasting menus focus on quality.  https://www.myrielmn.com/

5. Barbette; 1600 W Lake St, MPLS

For a casual & cool night out, check out Barbette’s cool ambiance with a French flare.  The late night crowd will even get to hear live music on Monday & Wednesday evenings. Don’t miss the Molten Chocolate Cake for dessert! https://www.barbette.com/
