Our Favorite Twin Cities Breakfast Spots

Imagine - a warm cup of coffee, a stack of pancakes, and a quaint ambiance! Who doesn’t want to start a morning like that!

We love eating breakfast out on the town and feeling the heartbeat of the community. Here are a few of our favorite places to eat breakfast in the Twin Cities area:

1) Victor's 1959 Cafe; 3756 Grand Ave S, Minneapolis.

Victor's delivers all flavors of Havana starting early every day. Dive into a creamy, sweet café con Leche before tearing into perfect comfort foods like long braised meats with rice and beans & breakfast Cubanos. https://www.victors1959cafe.com/

2) Maria's Cafe; 1113 E Franklin Ave, Minneapolis.

Trust me, order the corn pancakes.  They are a savory-sweet treat to just about anyone.  The menu has plenty of other yummy options, but those pancakes are non-negotiable.

Maria’s Cafe is a sweet little neighborhood gathering spot.  http://www.mariascafe.com/

3) Hazel's Northeast; 2859 Johnson St NE, Minneapolis.

Hazel’s is killing it in the breakfast game with scratch-made fare that converts fans one after another. Order an egg sandwich with bacon, tomato, and blue cheese on grilled sourdough.  https://www.hazelsnetogo.com/

4) Highland Grill; 771 Cleveland Ave S, St Paul.

Modern comforts dominate the extensive menu. Find fluffy pancakes served alongside smoky-sweet maple syrup. Try the sweet potato hash with spicy chunks of Italian sausage, kale, and peppers.  https://www.highlandgrill.com

5) The Buttered Tin; 237 7th St E, Saint Paul.

The second these doors opened in Lowertown, The Buttered Tin became an instant classic. Old school breakfast favorites are given new life and the bakery case is brimming with sweet treats.  https://www.thebutteredtin.com
