Five of our Favorite Twin Cities' Coffee Shops

Even though we just had a fresh blanket of snowfall here in the Twin Cities, the Spring housing market has already taken off!  Busy…Busy…Busy… So we NEED  our energy…we NEED our caffeine fix!

Here are just a few of the Twin Cities FAVORITE local coffee shops:

1) Misfit Coffee, 2401 Lyndale Ave S, MPLS.

Misfit brews several coffee “cocktails”, made with Kyoto coffee brewed with burnt sugar and a long list of enticing options.  Plus, Misfit has added a new walk-up window for the Covid times.  https://www.misfitcoffee.com/

2) Five Watt Coffee, 3745 Nicollet Ave, MPLS.

Try one of the specialty brews made with a proprietary line of bitters, like the Kingfield, named for the original shop’s location.  Made with coriander bitters and Hawaiian sea salt.  Or grab a couple of cans of Big Watt, a tasty cold brew line.  http://fivewattcoffee.com/

3) Penny’s Coffee, 100 Ave S, MPLS.

Penny’s 3 locations have added online ordering for easy pick up of beverages, snacks, and pantry items. http://www.pennyscoffee.com/

4) Carma Coffee, 520 NE Lowry Ave, MPLS.

Minneapolis’ only coffee shop/car repair shop is open and serving, along with a new online ordering system. https://www.carmacoffeeshop.com/

5) Quixotic Coffee, 769 Cleveland Ave S, St Paul.

The quirky name - meaning “romantically idealistic”- reflects the Highland Park’s shop’s desire to offer a peaceful place to enjoy your beverage.  The nitro bar, one of the first in the Twin Cities, is enough reason to call ahead for curbside pickup. http://www.quixoticcoffee.com/

Is your favorite coffee shop not on this list? Let us know which one we missed.
