Minneapolis Was Named Number 2 in 50 Top Cities for Raising Kids

Minneapolis was named number 2 in Lending Tree’s survey, 50 Top Cities for Raising Kids! 

The methodology that researchers used in creating the list included:

  • rankings of median family incomes,

  • monthly housing costs for homes with a mortgage,

  • unemployment,

  • access to education,

  • commute time,

  • homeownership rates among families with at least 1 child,

  • and more.

Minneapolis ranked high on this survey partly because of its high average income and low unemployment rate. 

All of the wonderful bike trails, lakes, parks, and culture certainly don’t hurt!  We all know that Minneapolis is only one of the many great places to raise a family in Minnesota.  Now it sounds like the secret is out!
